Welcoming Your Shift…

Hey Shifters!

Have you ever been in a situation where you just felt like a matter was out of your control? I’m pretty sure your answer is yes! As much as we would all like to have full control over our environment it just doesn’t always happen that way! When placed in situations where it’s out of your control how do you best handle it? Do you give pushback against unfavorable outcomes or do you welcome the shift in your situation?

The reason I wanted to touch this subject is because in my own personal life and a lot of individuals that are close to me both friends and family are experiencing tremendous shifts as of lately. Some controllable most are not! in this chapter of my life I’ve learned to use what I call Reverse Processing. My interpretation of Reverse Processing is to do the opposite of whatever my initial thought is! I’ll give you an example- To know any version of me before today is to know I’ve always been a person of action and less of talking. I was always taught to move with hast and not to tarry when making decisions. I’ve since deprogrammed myself from thinking that way. It caused me to fight a lot growing up both physically and verbally as well as speak out in situations that could have used some more thought or different choice of words.

I’ve reprogrammed myself to always assume positive intent! That first mindset alone changes the entire dynamics of how you even view the situation at hand. It will allow you to welcome the shift and therefore reshape the narrative in a way that will attract a more favorable outcome even if it’s not perfect. I could go deeper, but let’s use this as homework! Assess a situation in your own life. Set a mindset to assume positive intent and dissect the situation and I can almost guarantee you will see the situation differently!

I’ll leave you with an old saying my grandmother always said to me … “you can always attract more bees with honey than you can Buttermilk! ” if you had a granny like mine you know exactly what that means!

Hopefully you found something helpful in my post! Comment below if you can relate or even if you have a difference in opinions I’d love to hear your take on the subject!

As always keep shifting!
